Sajin Vaas takes CPC for a Rs.170 million ride.


Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has stopped supplying fuel to a fuel station at Ambalangoda town belonging to Parliamentarian Sajin Vaas Gunawardene due to nonpayment of Rs.170 million due to the Corporation say reports.

A spokesman for the CPC said fuel to all fuel stations in the country are supplied only after payments are made for the fuel they order.

However, the former Chairman and the management of CPC have violated circulars of the CPC by supplying fuel to the fuel station owned by Parliamentarian Sajin Vaas Gunawardene without any payments and when such a large amount of money was due to CPC say employees of CPC.
